Pakistan International Airline (PIA) operated eight special flights in last four days to bring back Pakistani students to their homeland amid emergency situation in Bishkek. According to PIA officials, 1368 students have been landed safely in their homeland through these PIA’s special flight. However, two more special flights in PIA operation are scheduled for Bishkek. One flight is scheduled to depart from Lahore at 12 am today while other one is scheduled from Islamabad at 8 am tomorrow. Through these two flight, 348 students will be brought back to Pakistan. According to spokesperson, these flights will operate for various cities including Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, and Quetta. National airline is operating flights on the instructions of Government of Pakistan and needs. According to PIA spokesperson, plans were devised to arrange more flights if needed and it was PIA first priority to help nationals in crisis.
