Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Saturday, paid tribute to former prime minister Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto on his death anniversary, acknowledging his significant national, political and constitutional contributions.In his message, the prime minister praised Bhutto’s sincere efforts for the country’s development, prosperity and strengthening of national defense during his tenure as prime minister, PM Office Media Wing said in a press release.

He also mentioned Bhutto’s pivotal role in the formulation and passage of the 1973 Constitution of Pakistan, describing it as ‘a cornerstone for the parliamentary democracy and promotion of democracy in the country’. The prime minister commended ZAB’s commitment to democratic governance, emphasizing his efforts to promote people-centric policies by addressing public issues. 

He also noted that Bhutto represented Pakistan on the global stage during his tenure as the prime minister. The prime minister prayed for the high ranks of ZAB’s in Jannah and observed that his political services would always be remembered.
