Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has appointed former bureaucrat Mansoor Qadir as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) election commissioner in his capacity as patron of the board, says in mieda reports. After assuming his responsibilities, Mansoor Qadir met PCB Chairman Syed Mohsin Naqvi and informed him about his role.
Mohsin Naqvi expressed hope that Qadir would carry out his duties with diligence and honesty.Separately, Pakistan T20I captain Salman Ali Agha has commended all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz for his remarkable performance that played a key role in dismantling Afghanistan’s batting line-up during the final of the tri-nation series at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
Speaking after the match, Agha said Pakistan are ready for the Asia Cup. He added: "The decision to play two spinners was made after considering the playing conditions."
