National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Chairman Lieutenant-General Inam Haider Malik has called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at PM House in Islamabad on Wednesday and discussed preparations for dealing with any emergency situation during monsoon rains. During the meeting, PM Shehbaz Sharif directed the NDMA chairman that coordination with provincial governments and provincial disaster management authorities be further improved during the monsoon rains.

Shehbaz Sharif during the meeting was briefed on preparations for any emergency situation during the monsoon rains in the country. The Prime Minister was also informed about the progress in fully activating the early warning system and coordination with the Ministry of Climate Change in this regard.
