Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has taken strict notice of non-compliance to office hours in federal ministries, divisions and institutions. In this regard, the Cabinet Division has issued a letter to all ministries, divisions and attached departments. The Prime Minister has declared violation of office hours a serious matter and directed the FBR headquarters and all field formations to strictly implement office hours.

Circular issued to all FBR members, Director Generals and heads of field formations. Copy of the directive has also been sent to the Chairman FBR and Secretary Revenue Division, who were instructed to display the directive on the notice boards of all offices. Strict monitoring of the admin wing has also been started to ensure compliance with office hours.

Directions for daily reporting on the attendance and punctuality of employees have also been issued. Action indicated for delay or absence from the stipulated hours. Prime Minister has also started direct supervision to maintain office discipline.Copy of the directive has been sent by the FBR to all relevant offices and field formations urging all FBR employees to ensure adherence to notified timings.
