Unidentified armed men gunned an activist of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) here on Monday and fled the scene. According to details, the incident took place in jurisdiction of Sargodha Road police station in Millat Chowk Faisalabad where three unknown armed men riding a motorcycle sprayed bullets at owner of Pizza Restaurant while he was present outside the restaurant along with his friends. As a result of firing, Mian Rameez Sahil was killed on the spot while other escaped narrowly and assailants sped the scene. The deceased had been attacked several times but he escaped but fell prey to attack this time. CPO Kamran Adil has constituted special teams under the supervision of SP Madina Town which started efforts to trace and arrest the culprits.
