Police arrest four outlaws, recover stolen property worth over Rs 1.4m Breaking

Police on Wednesday arrested four accused involved in theft, cattle lifting, and drug peddling, besides recovering stolen property worth over Rs 1.4 million and narcotics.  According to a press release issued by DPO office, the Bhera Police Station team conducted a major operation and apprehended a wanted criminal identified as Qaisar. The police recovered stolen cattle (goats) and a motorcycle from his possession, with a total estimated value of Rs. 920,000.

Following legal formalities, the recovered items were handed over to their rightful owners.  Separately, the Shah Nikdur Police successfully traced a theft case and arrested two accused, Inayat and Zahid.  The police recovered Rs. 565,000 in cash from their custody. The accused confessed to their crime during the preliminary investigation.  In a crackdown on drug dealers, the Kot Momin Police arrested a notorious drug-pusher named Saleem after catching him red-handed.

The police recovered 1.2 kilograms of charas and cash proceeds from the sale of drugs from his possession. A case was registered against the accused.  District Police Officer (DPO) Sargodha Muhammad Sohaib Ashraf stated that the protection of the life and property of citizens is the department's top priority. He reiterated that the police are working round the clock to eradicate the menace of drugs and crime from the district.
