The police arrested two Proclaimed Offenders (POs) wanted in separate criminal cases during ongoing operations against absconders across the district,the police sources said on Thursday. According to police, a team from Attock Khurd Police, under the supervision of Station House Officer Inspector, Khanzada Shahroz, conducted an operation and arrested an “A” category proclaimed offender wanted in a murder case registered in 2025.

The suspect, identified as Israr Nisar alias Saru, son of Mohammad Saleem and a resident of Mansar in Hazro tehsil, was traced and apprehended with the help of modern technology, they added. In a separate operation, the Bahter police arrested another proclaimed offender namely Mehfooz Rashid, who was wanted in a 2025 case related to theft and illegal occupation. The police said further investigations were underway following the arrests.
