The Cantt Police have foiled an attempt to smuggle narcotics. On the instructions of DPO Kohat Shahbaz Elahi, thecrackdown against drugs and wanted criminals continued successfully, the police spokesman said on Monday. SHO Cantt Khizar Farid arrested drug smuggler identified as Astra Khan, a resident of Kurram Agency, during routine checking, he added. The police recovered hashish 5 kilograms from his possession. A case had been registered against the accused, and further investigation was underway, he added.
