Police have registered a murder case following the fatal shooting of 17-year-old TikTok star Sana Yousuf in Islamabad’s G-13 sector on Tuesday. According to officials at Sumbal police station, the incident took place at around 5pm when an unidentified assailant entered Sana’s home and fired multiple shots, hitting her twice in the chest.

The accused fled the scene immediately after the attack. Sana, originally from Upper Chitral, was rushed to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) but was declared dead shortly after arrival. A case has been registered against unknown accused on the complaint of the victim’s mother, who said, “We can identify the accused when we meet him.”  

 Police sources suggested that the suspect might have been a guest at the victim’s house at the time of the shooting. The motive behind the killing is still under investigation. Sana Yousuf was a popular TikTok personality with a significant following. Her body has been sent to PIMS for a post-mortem examination.
