The district police have arrested five accused involved in serious criminal activities and recovered over two kilograms of hashish in the limits of Hathala Police Station on Wednesday.According to police spokesman, following the directives of District Police Officer Dera Ismail Khan Sajjad Ahmed Sahibzada, the Dera police have continued indiscriminate operations against criminal elements.
In a successful operation, Hathala Police, led by SP Sadar Muhammad Nawab Khan and SDPO Kulachi Aslam Khan Baloch, along with SHO Bashir Ahmed Khan, arrested five accused involved in serious criminal activities. Among those apprehended were Akram son of Atta ur Rehman, resident of Pota; Muhammad Farooq son of Ramzan; and Fayaz son of Rustam, both residents of Bannu, who were wanted in cases of theft, murder, and other crimes.
During a separate action, the police recovered 2,035 grams of hashish from the possession of Yasir Khan son of Hazrat Ghulam and Adeel Khan son of Sher Malik, residents of Tank district. Both suspects were taken into custody. The cases have been registered against all the arrested accused while further legal proceedings are underway.
