Massive protest demonstrations were held across Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) against the unprovoked Indian aggression targeting civilian populations in Pakistan and AJK. Hundreds of citizens gathered outside the Central Press Club in Muzaffarabad in a protest organized by Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir. The demonstrators set fire to the Indian national flag and raised anti-India slogans, along with chants of solidarity with Pakistan, including “Pakistan se rishta kya – La ilaha illallah” (What is our bond with Pakistan? – There is no god but Allah).
Addressing the protesters, speakers including Uzair Ghazali paid glowing tributes to the bravery and valor of the Pakistani armed forces. They said that by launching aggression against Pakistan, India has endangered peace in South Asia. “India is a terrorist state,” they asserted, emphasizing that Pakistan remains the center of hope for the Kashmiri people, and that they stand firmly with the Pakistan Army in their struggle to complete the mission of Kashmir’s freedom.
A similar protest was also held outside Rawalakot Press Club, where participants chanted slogans against India and in favor of Pakistan and its armed forces. Speakers addressing the gathering accused India of violating international laws by targeting civilian areas, calling India a threat to global peace and labeling it a terrorist state. They further stated that the timely response of the Pakistan Army forced India to retreat and praised the Pakistan Air Force for downing five enemy aircrafts.
“The entire nation stands proud of the Pakistan Air Force,” they said. The speakers also highlighted that the brave tribes of Poonch are standing shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistan Army against Indian aggression and vowed to thwart all nefarious designs of India. Prominent speakers included Sardar Qamar Rasheed, Sardar Ikram Munsif, Sardar Zahoor, and others.
