PTI Punjab Acting President Hammad Azhar, who had returned home a few days ago on the death of his father Mian Muhammad Azhar after remaining in hiding for two years, has again disappeared. Hammad Azhar had disappeared to evade arrest since the police had raided his home two days ago. Five days ago on Friday, Hammad had decided to voluntarily 'surrender' before the court and file a bail petition.
According to insiders, the former federal minister had concluded key consultations with his close associates and a legal team to appear before the court shortly. Sources added that if bail is denied after his expected surrender, Hammad is prepared to submit to arrest and face jail time. His unexpected reappearance has sparked renewed speculation in political circles.
