A Crime Control Department (CCD) team arrested renowned TikToker Hakeem Shehzad from his residence in Shujabad near Multan.According to media reports, earlier, in 2024, a Federal Investigation Agency’s cybercrime team arrested Shahzad from Shujaabad. 

According to the FIA, the TikToker allegedly spread rumours about the rape of a private college student in his videos and uploaded content inciting hatred toward law enforcement agencies.

The FIA requested physical remand to recover additional controversial videos and apprehend accomplices involved in the case. Hakeem Shahzad is popular on TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook, where he also often promotes self-made medical remedies in his videos.

His arrest stems from a viral video where he questioned a TikToker named Chacha Siraiki about an alleged incident at a private college in Lahore, prompting an inappropriate response. Shahzad later issued an apology on social media for his comments in the video.
