As many as ten people, including three rescue officials were critical injured on Saturday when a fire broke out following an explosion in a chemical storage area at a plastic factory in Gujranwala’s Gulshan Adeel Colony.According to rescue officials, smoke was initially reported at the factory when rescue teams first arrived to control the situation, the local news channel reported. 

However, a chemical reaction involving sulfur triggered an explosion, leading to a fire that left ten people, including three rescue personnel, with burn injuries. All the injured were promptly shifted to the hospital, and additional rescue teams were dispatched to the scene.The fire was eventually brought under control with the help of six fire engines and six ambulances involved in the operation. A cooling process is currently underway to prevent any further incidents.
