The body of Sara Inam, who had been murdered a few days ago by her husband Shahnawaz Amir, son of senior journalist Ayaz Amir, has been handed over to her family and her Namaz-i-Janaza was offered in Islamabad after Zohr prayers. The Islamabad police recorded the statements of Sara’s brother and cousins who had come from Canada. After recording their statements, the police handed over the body to them. They took the body of Sara to home from Polyclinic Hospital. Her funeral prayers was offered in Shahzad Town after Zohr prayers. “Our sister has been murdered. We are still in a state of shock because of what happened to us,” said Sarah’s brother. “We hope we will get justice,” hoped Sarah’s cousin.
