The Saudi government has announced that this year’s Hajj sermon will be broadcast with translations in 35 major languages spoken around the world. In this regard, Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais said that the aim of this initiative is to deliver the important message of the Hajj sermon to Muslims worldwide and to promote Islam’s message of moderation, tolerance, and humanity on a global scale.
According to a report, Sheikh Al-Sudais said that the translation of the Hajj sermon reflects Saudi Arabia’s commitment to serving Islam and Muslims. He added that the initiative also highlights the special attention given by the Saudi leadership to facilitating and serving pilgrims.He further stated that the global impact of the Hajj season is being strengthened through the use of modern technology and digital platforms so that the spiritual, moral, and humanitarian messages of the Hajj sermon can reach as many people as possible.
Sheikh Al-Sudais said that the Hajj sermon translation project is one of the most significant initiatives of the Ministry of Holy Mosques Affairs, developed through years of experience to promote religious content in multiple world languages.He added that, to ensure the effective delivery of the sermon, the Ministry has mobilized its technical, media, and specialized expert teams so the message can be conveyed to the widest possible global audience in a professional and high-quality manner.
