A van carrying schoolchildren met with a horrific accident near Lower Mohra Bara Hotar in Murree and plunged off the road. After plunging, the vehicle caught fire and the entire van burnt. The incident left 10 children seriously burned and injured. According to details, the passenger van carrying children to school went out of control and fell into a deep ravine in the outskirts of Murree. Shortly afterward, a sudden fire broke out in the van due to a short circuit or a cylinder. Following reports of the accident, nearby emergency teams of Rescue 1122 and firefighters immediately reached the scene.

Rescue officials said that rescue personnel acted promptly, safely evacuated the seriously injured children and provided first aid to all affected children at the scene. Subsequently, the 10 injured children were immediately shifted to Civil Hospital Murree for further treatment. It was also reported that the firefighting team of Rescue 1122 completely extinguished the intense fire in the van, while the cooling process at the accident site was also completed. The local administration and police have launched an investigation into the incident.
