The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Government has made significant changes in its senior administrative setup, with several secretaries transferred and appointed to new positions. A notification issued by the Services and General Administration Department on Wednesday stated that Syed Shahid Mohiuddin Qadri has been appointed as Secretary, Physical Planning and Housing after being transferred from the Kashmir Cause, Arts and Languages Department.

Muhammad Shahid Ayub has been assigned as Secretary Food, replacing his previous role as Secretary Presidential Affairs. Nasir Yaqoob has been appointed Secretary Higher Education after being transferred from the Sports, Youth, Culture, Tourism and Archaeology Department. Meanwhile, Javed-ul-Hasan Javed has been appointed Secretary Presidential Affairs after his transfer from the Services and General Administration Department.

Chaudhry Abdul Rehman has moved from the Higher Education Department and will now serve as Secretary Industries, Commerce and Printing Press. Adnan Khurshid has been posted as Secretary Sports, Youth, Culture, Tourism and Archaeology after his transfer from the Industries and Commerce Department. He will also hold the additional charge of Secretary Kashmir Cause, Arts and Languages until further orders. The government said the reshuffle was carried out for administrative purposes, and the official notification has been issued by the concerned department.
