Deputy Commissioner Sarmad Salim Akram has imposed Section 144 Cr PC across the district to ensure a fair and transparent examination process during the SSC Annual-II examinations. According to the notification, gatherings within 200 yards of examination centers have been banned, while the sale and distribution of guides, notes, and unauthorized study material near the centers are strictly prohibited.
The use of mobile phones, smartwatches, and other electronic devices inside examination centers has also been banned. The restrictions will remain in force from October 8 to November 5, 2025, and any violation will lead to legal action under Section 188 of the Pakistan Penal Code. The administration said the step aims to promote transparency, fairness, and prevent cheating during the examinations.
