Security arrangements reviewed in RawalpindiBreaking

Commissioner Rawalpindi Division, Engineer Aamir Khattak along with Regional Police Officer (RPO) Syed Khalid Mahmood Hamdani held a meeting at Police Lines Headquarters to review the overall law and order and security situation in the region. The meeting was attended by members of the peace committee, representatives of traders’ associations, transporters, and senior police officers.

The Commissioner and RPO listened to participants’ concerns and assured immediate and effective solutions. RPO Hamdani appreciated the role of the business community, religious scholars, and respected citizens in maintaining peace, calling their contributions commendable. He emphasized that foolproof security arrangements would continue to be ensured with the cooperation of the public. The RPO highlighted that Rawalpindi Police have shown exemplary performance in crime prevention and handling serious cases.

He added that coordinated and strict security measures are being implemented at mosques, imambargahs, and other sensitive locations across the city. Participants lauded the police for maintaining effective security arrangements during Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr, acknowledging their role in ensuring peaceful observance of religious activities. The traders and peace committee members also reaffirmed their commitment to stand shoulder to shoulder with law enforcement agencies in all circumstances.
