A large number of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf like-minded group members from Gilgit and Baltistan, including the ex-governor, the chief minister, and other ministers, on Wednesday announced to join the Istekham Pakistan Party (IPP).The GD PTI leaders announced their decision after a meeting with Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan at his residence in Lahore.
Ex Governor Jalal Hussain Muqpoon and Chief Minister Haji Gulbar Khan are also among those who joined Pakistan Istekham Party. Former Leader of Opposition in Gilgit Baltistan Assembly, Captain Shafi, also joined the Stability Pakistan Party. Former ministers Fatullah Khan, Shamsullah Haq, Haji Shah Baig, and Dilshad Bano, Khan Akbar Khan, Maulana Sultan Raees, and Iman Shah from Gilgit-Baltistan also joined the Istekham Pakistan Party.
Federal Minister for Communication and President of Istekham Pakistan Party, Abdul Aleem Khan, welcomed them in the party and said that the progress and prosperity of Pakistan is our topmost priority. Minister of State and Senior IPP leader Aon Chaudhary and Parliamentary Secretary Gul Asghar Bhaghor were also present on the occasion.
