Six dacoits, including three unidentified accused, were shot dead during a joint operation of the police and Pakistan Rangers in Sindh city of Obaro. The joint operation was conducted in the Ronti Kacha area of Obaro. Intense clashes between suspects and police personnel in the Kacha area were still continuing. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Obaro Abdul Qadir Soomro said that the dead accused included Akbar, Gulab and Nazir Shar, and three other unknown accused. Obaro police recovered a large quantity of heavy weapons from the possession of the accused.
Earlier, on November 6, 2025, five people were killed and seven, including a woman, were injured in firing during a clash between two rival groups of Shar and Selro communities in the Ronti Kacha area of Obaro. According to police, Ali Gohar Dhondo, Sobo Selro, Ibrahim Selro, and others were among the deceased.Bodies and the injured were shifted to Tehsil Hospital Obaro by rescue personnel. A heavy contingent of police has been sent towards the Kacha area to bring the situation under control.
