A special police officer (SPO) was killed and five Indian army personnel were injured in two incidents of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. According to Kashmir Media Service, the special police officer identified as Bashir Ahmad lost his life after sustaining a fatal electric shock in Badipora Chadoora, area of Budgam district.

Meanwhile, at least five Indian army personnel including Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO)  were injured in a road mishap near the Dehri Ralyote in Rajouri area. The incident occurred when a Light Vehicle Patrol (LVP) skidded while returning to headquarters at Galuthi.

One Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) and four other ranks sustained injuries in the accident. All the injured personnel were immediately evacuated to Army Hospital Rajouri, for medical attention, a police officer said.
