Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Khairpur, Hassan Sardar Niazi on Friday has directed strict measures to ensure foolproof security during Muharram processions and gatherings across the district.Heavy police deployment has been made on the routes of processions and gatherings, with personnel remaining alert and fully prepared to perform their duties. The district police, including lady police, intelligence staff, bomb disposal squad and QRF squad, have been deployed to ensure security.

A strict checking system has been implemented at entry and exit points of processions and gatherings, with close surveillance on suspicious individuals to prevent any untoward incident.Police officials are personally visiting security points to review personnel attendance, alert positions, and duty plans, ensuring that all necessary measures are in place to maintain law and order during Muharram.
