A new procedure for driving licenses will come into effect on September 17, imposing strict conditions on the testing process. According to spokesperson, it was now mandatory to take the road test within 24 hours of passing the e-sign test, failure to take the road test within this timeframe will result in the invalidation of the e-sign test result, requiring the entire process to be restarted. Officers have been ordered to strictly implement the new procedure.

Even if both the e-sign and road tests were passed within 24 hours, approval would not be granted unless a PSID (Payment Slip ID) was generated. The spokesperson said that if a PSID is not generated, the results of both tests will lapse after 24 hours, and failure to deposit the fee against the PSID within 7 days would result in the cancellation of the entire process.

If the PSID expires, the e-sign and road tests must be retaken within 24 hours. According to traffic authorities, road test sites would accept applications for regular licenses, and the DIG Traffic had issued instructions to traffic heads across the province.
