A meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner Gujrat, Noor-ul-Ain Qureshi, was held to address persistent traffic issues on Bhimber Road. The meeting was attended by DSP Traffic Zaheer Janjua, Chief Officer Municipal Corporation Gujrat Zafar Abbas, District sports Officer Chaudhry Raheel Bajwa, Assistant Director Colleges, along with other concerned officials.  During the meeting, long-standing traffic problems on Bhimber Road were discussed in detail.

To facilitate citizens and improve traffic flow, it was decided to establish a temporary free parking facility on land owned by the Sports and Youth Affairs Department.  Officials informed the meeting that a designated parking area is being developed for patients, attendants, and ambulances visiting Aziz Bhatti Shaheed Teaching Hospital and other nearby hospitals, which is expected to help reduce road congestion.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the Chief Officer Municipal Corporation Gujrat to make the temporary parking facility operational within four days to provide immediate relief to the public. She also instructed that security arrangements and staff deployment be ensured by the District Council for smooth operations.
