As many as three people died and nine others received critical injuries when a passenger bus collided with a truck and fell into a ravine in Jhang. The ill-fated passenger bus was going to Lahore from Layyah. Rescue 1122 sources said that around 40 passengers were on board the bus. Sources further revealed that the passenger bus collided with the truck which was coming from opposite side near Bahu Bridge in Jhang.

Three people were killed and nine received serious injuries. Later all the dead and injured were shifted to a local hospital. The deceased were identified as Ghulam Esa, Ahmad Raza and Nazir son of Bashir, who were aged between 35 to 49 years. Further investigation was under way.
