Three police officers have been suspended following the death of lawyer Zeeshan Shabbir Dhaddi,who was allegedly killed in a staged encounter in Vehari on Saturday. According to report,the suspended officials includes Machiwal police station SHO,Sub-Inspector Sajid Hussain and ASIs Muhammad Ashraf and Muhammad Junaid.

Lawyers across Punjab have protested the incident,demanding action against those responsible. A murder case has been filed and the investigation has been handed over to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) under the Torture and Custodial Death Act.
