Three women found dead at Karachi flat had been poisoned: PoliceBreaking

Police in Karachi said on Monday that as per initial investigation, three women and a man who had been found dead and in an unconscious condition, respectively at a flat in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi on Sunday had been poisoned.SHO Gulshan-e-Iqbal Muhammad Naeem Rajput has said that the family of the three women, a woman, her daughter and a sister-in-law, were not even ready to bury them despite police’s insistence.

He has further said that the family is telling the police weird kinds of things such as that the women fell prey to black magic. The SHO has elaborated that the man, who was found in a critical condition, was the son of the aged woman.The deceased women were identified as Samina, aged 52 years, Maha, aged 22 years and Samreen, aged 19 years, while the man was identified as Yasin.

Three women of a family were found dead and a young man was found lying unconscious under mysterious circumstances in their Gulshan-i-Iqbal flat on Sunday evening, police said. SSP-East (Investigation) Zubair Nazir Ahmed Shaikh said that the head of the family informed Madadgar 15 about the incident. “When the police reached the scene, they found bodies of the three women on separate beds while the young man was found unconscious,” the SHO said, adding, “However, his father, the head of the family, was perfectly fine.

”The bodies were shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.On the other hand, Police Surgeon Summaiya Syed said that there were no marks of violence on the bodies. SSP Shaikh said the crime scene unit had collected evidence from the scene.He said that investigators had ruled out the possibility of any gas leakage.He said the family head was detained for questioning and the police were waiting for the youth to regain proper consciousness to obtain his statement.
