Engine of a freight train that was going from Hyderabad to Karachi derailed near Jamshoro Kotri Railway Station.Railway officials said that due to derailment, the railway traffic on the down track was completely suspended.The railway maintenance team, after separating the engine from the other bogies, started operations to restore the traffic.

Railway officials said that repair and maintenance work on the track will be completed within two hours, as a crane has also started the rescue operation.The different trains that were going to Karachi from Punjab were stopped at different railway stations. These trains include Khyber Mail Express, Bahauddin Zikriya Express, and other trains that were stationed at Hyderabad Railway Station.
