Lasani Express, which was on its way to Narowal from Lahore, derailed near Kala Khatai, resulting in the suspension of railway traffic on Monday.After the incident, Lasani Express came to a halt at Kala Khatai Railway Station. Allama Iqbal Express which was approaching fast behind Lasani Express was made to stop at a railway station.The passengers of Lasani train faced difficulties due to the incident. This was the second incident at the same place and at the same track in a month.

A traveller told that the railway track between Narowal and Lahore is in poor condition. It is necessary to mention here that on July 6, 2025, a bogie of the Lasani Express derailed near the Baddomalhi railway station, suspending rail traffic on the Narowal-Lahore section.According to details, coach number three of the Lasani Express traveling from Lahore to Sialkot derailed near the Baddomalhi railway station. Following the derailment, traffic on the section was suspended.
