Tribute paid to martyred copBreaking

A tribute was paid to Constable Syed Sajjad Hussain Shaheed of Rawalpindi Police in a ceremony held in his hometown, Jhangi Daim Chuntra.   Constable Sajjad Hussain was martyred while bravely confronting robbers in the Saddar Wah area  during on duty.   

The ceremony was attended by several prominent figures, including MPA Chaudhry Naeem Ijaz, MPA  Chaudhry Imran Ilyas, PML-N Rawalpindi Vice President Dr. Zia, former MPA Sarfaraz Afzal, and senior police officers including SP Faisal Saleem, SP Saddar Nabeel Khokhar, SP Potohar Talha Wali, members of civil society, and a large number of local residents. 

A special prayer was offered for the departed soul, and heartfelt condolences were extended to the martyr’s family. Speakers on the occasion said that the martyrs are the pride of the nation and their sacrifices will always be remembered.

He was the brother of SHO Saddar Wah Aftab Shah, nephew of Inspector Mushtaq Shah (former Reader to CPO Rawalpindi), and uncle to several serving police officers including Sub-Inspector Aamir Abbas, Waqas Haider, Tayyab Shah, and Inspector Ijaz Shah.

He was also the maternal uncle of noted social worker Syed Kausar Abbas and businessman Syed Adnan Haider. The martyr’s family expressed deep gratitude to all those who attended the ceremony and supported them during this difficult time.
