Two notorious dacoits in custody were killed when their colleagues opened fire on a police team who was taking them for recovery in near Sue-e-Asal area of Raiwind early Saturday. Police sources said that both robbers who were later identified as Asad and Safiullah were under custody of the investigation police on physical remand.

The police team were taking them to village Judu Dhair for recovery purpose when suddenly their colleagues started firing on police team near village Sue-e-Asal. During retaliation by police team, both dacoits were killed during heavy exchange of firing. All the accused managed to escape from the scene taking advantage of darkness. Later the local police shifted the dead bodies of dacoits to local hospital for autopsy.
