At least a brother and sister lost their lives after a fire broke out in a house in Phase V of DHA Lahore on Thursday. According to details, a rescue official said three-year-old Aliza and five-year-old Saad, children of Ansar, were identified as the victims, adding that they were reportedly playing in a servant quarter at the time, while their parents were working downstairs, a private news channel reported.

Both children had died before Rescue 1122 personnel arrived at the scene. The emergency team later reached the house and managed to extinguish the fire. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the incident.
