Under the Punjab Chief Minister's vision a “Drug-Free Punjab,” the Kot Wasawa Police team led by SHO Ali Irfan conducted a raid and arrested two drug dealers.The police spokesman stated that hashish 1,190 grams and liquor were recovered from the suspects.

The cases had been registered against the accused and further investigation was underway, he added.District Police Officer (DPO) Abdullah Ahmed said that the crackdown under the special anti-drug campaign was in full swing, and steps were being taken to ensure quality investigation of drug cases to bring the accused to the justice.
