Two youths were killed while two others fainted after consuming toxic liquor in Ghotki.The incident took place in Jhanpur Sharif area of Ghotki. The deceased were identified as Safdar Hussain Dil and Abdul Ghani Sheikh while Nanho Samejo and Aetbar Shah, who fainted, were shifted to a hospital in a critical condition. The bodies of the deceased were handed over to their families.  

On the other hand, a man named Qadir Bux Mehr was recovered from the captivity of dacoits after a police encounter with the outlaws in the katcha area of Ghotki. Police said that the dacoits were shifting Qadir from one place to another when they were spotted by the cops. This led to an encounter following which the dacoits fled, leaving the captive behind.
