The assistant controller examination of University of Engineering, Mardan has been suspended over his alleged involvement in the May 9 violent incidents. The Mardan UET registrar on Wednesday issued a notification of the suspension of assistant controller exams Muhammad Ismail. A First Information Report (FIR) has been lodged against the university’s assistant controller exams with the City Police Station under sections pertaining to inciting mutiny, terrorism, arson and inflicting damage to public property. According to the notification, after suspending Ismail, the UET administration has sent a request to the University Syndicate seeking further proceedings against the assistant controller exams for his alleged role in the May 9 mayhem.
