A 16-year-old boy was abducted by unidentified accused in broad daylight on a busy road in Lahore. Gulberg Police registered a first information report (FIR) on behalf of the boy’s uncle, Adeel, which stated “My nephew has been working in a call center located in Al-Hafeez Heights. On June 1, 2026, he went outside to buy food at about 5.15 pm but failed to return.” The FIR stated that unidentified persons kidnapped him.
Despite the passage of 72 hours, the Crime Control Department (CCD) team and the Investigation Wing failed to recover the abducted youngster. The uncle of boy Adeel said that police did not obtain CCTV footage of the incident, while on the other hand, despite the passage of 72 hours, police failed to recover the young man and did nothing but console.
