The much-awaited auction for the Multan Sultans franchise will take place today.  The auction will be held in the Expo Center in Lahore, and the event will be broadcast live on the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) channel. Five companies have been deemed technically qualified to participate in the auction, and stringent measures will be in place to ensure transparency throughout the process. 

The auction has generated considerable buzz in cricket circles, with many speculating that it could bring major developments regarding the future of Multan Sultans. Interestingly, Ali Tareen, who had previously parted ways with the franchise, is back in the bidding arena.  

After stepping away from the team last year, he is once again vying to regain ownership of the Multan Sultans. The auction is expected to be a pivotal moment in the PSL's history, with a number of potential buyers looking to make their mark.
