342 farmers booked over canal water theft
Sahianwala police have booked 342 farmers over canal water theft on the reports of Irrigation Department teams. According to police sources here on Thursday, the teams detected water theft in different villages in the police limits by installing motors as well as breaking water courses. The teams reported the matter to the police station, upon which separate cases were registered against water thieves. Police are raiding for the arrest of the guilty farmers.
