India continuously beating drums of war without any reason: Sherry
PPP leader Sherry Rehman has said the situation remains tense, with both countries experiencing heightened levels of strain. In a statement she viewed that India has been continuously beating the drums of war and its leaders frequently speak against Pakistan. Rehman said that India has poisoned its narrative and blamed Pakistan without evidence. She warned of nightly cross-border firing along the Line of Control and stressed the need for vigilance on both security and political fronts.
She said India's narrative is weakening over time and expressed surprise that, contrary to expectations, the US attempted to maintain balance in its stance. Rehman said India is facing diplomatic setbacks and has a history of misadventures. She warned that India will likely fabricate another false narrative for propaganda. Rehman also said suspending the Indus Waters Treaty was a pre-planned move by India, which finds the treaty particularly irksome. She added that the IIOJK has become a full military garrison.
