Atlas Honda is progressing with key automation efforts, including the adoption of SAP S/4HANA, a next-generation ERP system powered by the SAP HANA in-memory database. This upgrade allows for real-time analytics and quicker, data-informed decision-making across the organization. Additionally, the introduction of robotic arms and automated shift operations has led to a 9.4% increase in assembly line productivity.
At the same time, robotic process automation is streamlining functions in procurement, finance, and inventory management. Furthermore, the implementation of business intelligence dashboards and automated payment systems is enhancing transparency and improving cash flow management. Moreover, the company is also adopting smart manufacturing practices, including predictive maintenance, real-time quality control, and advanced inventory systems to enhance efficiency and product quality.
Atlas Honda’s automation and digital initiatives are delivering significant economic benefits for both the company and Pakistan’s industrial sector. In the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025, the company posted a record sales revenue of Rs204 billion and a profit after tax of Rs15.3 billion, driven by enhanced efficiency, strong demand, and cost control.
Similarly, automation boosted production by 23%, with sales exceeding expectations for the first time in three years. Energy and emission levels dropped through efficiency measures and digital advancements are fueling economic growth by enhancing workforce skills, strengthening supply chains, and expanding capacity to 1.5 million units.
The company has installed 8 MW of solar power at its Karachi and Sheikhupura plants to support sustainable operations. In product development, digital tools are accelerating R&D and new model launches. These advancements are also driving the company’s export strategy, enabling expansion into South Asia, Central Asia, the Middle East, and Africa by enhancing quality and boosting foreign exchange earnings.
Moreover, Atlas Honda is investing in electric vehicles and AI, with the launch of the Benly-e model marking its push to capture a major share of Pakistan’s EV market by 2030. Atlas Honda is using AI to enhance operations and maintain its industry leadership, while addressing challenges by upskilling its workforce, strengthening supply chains, and adapting to evolving mobility technologies.
