A massive fire broke out on Thursday in a two-storey building of Indian paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force camp in Karanagar area of Srinagar district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. According to Kashmir Media Service, a CRPF official told the media that fire and emergency services rushed to the camp and launched operations to control the blaze.

Firefighting teams were engaged in containing the fire and preventing it from spreading to adjoining camp buildings. The cause of the fire and the extent of damage were not immediately known, and no casualties or injuries had been reported at the time of filing this report.
