Gwadar development image bedazzles all businessmen at the 3-day 9th Industrial Expo 2025 that held in Lahore. “Gwadar is a resounding opportunity for all leaders of chamber of commerce and industries to put their heads together to formalize a joint action plan for the overarching growth of Gwadar anticipated to be hub of $10 billion economy under CPEC development framework,” Gwadar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) President Jeehand Hoth in an exclusive interview with Gwadar pro.

On the first day held at Hall No 1 and Hall No 2, he said that participation of Gwadar businessmen as well as hundreds of traders and industrialists engaged in business of manufacturing and processing machinery, light industry, industrial equipment, construction machinery, electronics, chemicals, apparel, textiles, and auto parts ensured their attendance with fervour on the occasion.

He said that blue economy and border trade are mainstay of Gwadar. “It is high time for all traders hailing from three provinces—Punjab, Sindh and KPK to tap business dynamics loaded with blue economy and border trades to cash in wholesome benefits,” he mentioned. Gwadar being hub of emerging businesses is gradually taking centre stage for industrial development in collaboration with all chamber of commerce and industries in Pakistan.

He said that Gwadar’s emerging blue economy — spanning fisheries, aquaculture, port trade and renewable energy — is taking centre stage in Pakistan’s export strategy for 2025–2035.
