Airport Security Force (ASF) has thwarted an attempt to smuggle one kilogram of heroin, which was tactfully hidden in 108 capsules, from Lahore to Saudi Arabia. A spokesman of the Allama Iqbal International Airport said that an ASF team intercepted a suspicious passenger who was going to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, for checking.
Upon detailed examination of his luggage, the ASF personnel recovered 108 capsules filled with ice. The narcotics capsules were hidden in a steel rod.
