With over 100 varieties of mangoes on display, the exhibition serves as a platform for farmers, growers, exporters, and mango-related businesses to showcase their finest produce and engage with mango lovers, food enthusiasts, and industry experts. The theme for this year’s Mango Festival, “Agro Tourism,” focuses on promoting agro-tourism in Pakistan as a vital and growing segment of the country’s tourism industry.
As an agriculture-based society, Pakistan holds vast potential to attract tourists through farm-based experiences that connect them directly with rural life and local produce. Agro-tourism involves activities such as guided farm visits, mango picking, and village stays that offer access to orchards and the authentic lifestyle of farming communities. This form of tourism not only enhances cultural appreciation but also creates economic opportunities for farmers, growers, and rural entrepreneurs by turning agricultural practices into immersive visitor experiences.
