Commissioner Sargodha Division, Jahanzeb Awan on Monday chaired a meeting to discuss city development projects, focusing on cleanliness, sewerage, beautification, and tree plantation in the city. According to the spokesperson for the Commissioner office, the meeting also reviewed the city center beautification plan for the central area.

The meeting discussed developing Gol Chowk, Kutchery Bazaar, and City Road as model areas, with FESCO briefing on plans to lay underground electric lines in both markets.

During the meeting, Sargodha Waste Management Company briefed on the program's progress, while Director General Parks and Horticulture Authority Muhammad Arshad updated on park beautification and progress on the commissioner's initiatives.

WASA MD Azizullah Khan also reviewed the city's sewerage, disposal stations, and water supply system, highlighting future strategies. On the occasion, the Commissioner directed all institutions to improve mutual coordination and ensure timely field visits, and completing public welfare projects effectively.
