The district administration has held an open court (Kuli Kacheri) in Tehsil Paharpur to resolve citizens' problems at their doorsteps. According to the administration, the open court was held on the directives of the deputy commissioner in village Awan under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Paharpur, Dr Hamid.
A large number of local residents attended the open court and presented their issues and complaints. The assistant commissioner listened to the problems and issued orders for the resolution of several matters on the spot, while concerned departments were directed to submit compliance reports within four days on the remaining issues.
He said the objective of holding the open court was to ensure prompt resolution of public grievances at their doorstep and provide immediate relief to the citizens. The district administration said that such open courts would continue to be held regularly to strengthen public service delivery and address local issues effectively.
