Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lt General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry visited COMSATS university Islamabad Campus and held a detailed discussion on the country’s internal security situation, the spread of misinformation, and other important issues with the faculty members and students.During the special session, the DG ISPR gave comprehensive and well-reasoned answers to the questions raised by the participants.

The participants paid glowing tribute to the everlasting sacrifices of the Pakistan Armed Forces for the motherland.They said the spread of unverified information without proper facts checking can be harmful to national interests. Such sessions help counter misinformation and disinformation more effectively, they said. The participants while reaffirming their resolve said that Pakistan Army stands with us, and we stand with the Pakistan Army.

Role of every citizen alongside the armed forces is indispensable for country’s stability, security and development, they said. They were of the views that complete eradication of terrorism requires close coordination and unity among all institutions. Continuity of such awareness sessions is the need of the hour to promote understanding and consciousness among the youth, they said. The DG ISPR responded questions raised by the participants.
